Appreciation, or criticism, or analysis, is the study or analysis of a given piece of writing based on specific elements. Note that this does not mean to criticise a a piece by giving its negative aspects, nor is it giving its positive aspects. The bottom line is, "appreciation" means analysis.
Note: For appreciation to be effective, reading the given piece of writing several times is necessary for your understanding of it.
As far as Poetry Appreciation is concerned, some elements must be taken into consideration. It is on the basis of these elements that questions are set in paper 3.

It now has an evening school located in Yaounde, Biyem-assi, beside Bonanjo Snack Bar.
